The name of this organization is “Shogai Gogaku Gakushu Kenkyubukai” [生涯語学学習研究部会] in Japanese and “The Lifelong Language Learning Special Interest Group” in English, and its abbreviation is LLL SIG.
On this website we will promote our SIG’s events (such as forums and featured speaker sessions) held at the PanSIG, JALT National Expo & Conference, the LLL-SIG’s annual mini-conference, and at co-sponsored talks our SIG offers together with other SIGs or chapters.
This site also includes a blog, for SIG members only, where any issue related to lifelong language learning can be discussed. It is also an area where members can continue discussions begun in the course of SIG-sponsored forums or talks.
